Rüstem Paşa Camii'ni Mimar Sinan olgunluk zamanında yapmış. Tabii bazı
şeylerin özellkle istendiği hemen anlaşılabilyor Sinan'dan...
Bahsettiğim camii Kanuni Sutan Süleyman'ın Sadrazamı Rüstem Paşa
tarafından Süleymaniye Camiinin önüne yaptırılmış, tek minareli, uzaktan bakınca
küçük bir şey ve sahilde Tahtakalenin göbeğinde... Sanki Süleymaniye'nin
ulviliğine karşın onun ayakları yerde, hayatın içinde...
İtina ile hesaplanmış bir alçak gönüllülük var. Süleymaniye'nin görüntüsünü
yüceliğini destekleyen... Tıpkı sadrazam padişah ilişkisinde ki... Tahtakalede
dolaşırken, sıkışık yoğun trafikten bir kapı açılıyor, sonra çok güzel bir labirentin
sarmallarından yukarı çıkıp kendinizi huzur dolu bir ortamda buluyorsunuz.
Rüstem Paşa'nın bana da mesajı şu oldu: Osmanlının en zengin Çinilerini yaptırmış.
Ama o parayı dışardan görülecek bir gösterişe harcamamış... Bu kadar küçük bir
mekanda ne kadar geniş bir hacim duygusu yaratılmış, düşündürücü... Human Computer
Interface Design açısından da... Aslında camilerde hacim duygusunun yönetimi
insan yaratan ilişkisinin tasarlanmasında önemli bir unsur belki esas bir unsur
değil mi? Gülen'in Papa'ya boş bir kase hediye etmesi ne kadar anlamlı bir davranıştı.
İçindeki boşluğu kapsayan bir varlık, kase...
Fırsat olduğunda size Kılıç Ali Paşa'nın camisinden de bahsetmek isterim, bi zaman...
Kurtuluş savaşından ve Osmanlının son döneminde dönen yaralı askerlerin sığındığı
camii... Bir soluk alıp dinlendiğim, biraz Kuran biraz İncil okuduğum, huzur dolu
mekan...
